What is Crab Island?
Crab Island is a famous submerged sandbar located in the Destin Harbor area of the Choctawhatchee Bay. The shallow, crystal-clear emerald waters make it the perfect spot for swimming, floating, and socializing. It's one of the most popular boating destinations in all of Florida!
What trip durations do you offer?
We offer three trip options: a 4-hour Island Getaway ($600), a 6-hour Full Experience ($750, our most popular), and an 8-hour All-Day Adventure ($900). All trips are all-inclusive with your licensed captain, premium sound system, water toys, coolers with ice, and more.
How many guests can come on a trip?
Our pontoon boat can accommodate up to 9 guests per trip. Whether it's a small group of friends or a larger party, we've got room for everyone to have a great time.
What time do trips depart?
Departure times are flexible and arranged when you book. Typically, morning trips depart around 8โ9 AM. We'll coordinate the best time for your group.
Where do we meet for departure?
We depart from Destin Harbor. The exact dock location and meeting instructions will be sent to you via email after your booking is confirmed and your deposit is received.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsafe for boating, we will reschedule your trip at no additional charge. We monitor conditions closely and will contact you in advance if we need to make any changes. Light rain usually doesn't stop us โ it's still warm out there!

What is included in the trip?
Every trip includes a licensed captain, a premium Bluetooth sound system (bring your playlist!), water toys like floats and noodles, coolers packed with ice, Coast Guard certified safety equipment, and a Bimini top for shade. We take care of the details so you can focus on fun.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your own food, snacks, and beverages. We provide the coolers and ice to keep everything cold. Many guests bring sandwiches, snacks, and their favorite drinks for the day.
Is alcohol allowed on the boat?
Yes, guests are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages. However, we ask that everyone drinks responsibly. The captain reserves the right to limit alcohol consumption if safety becomes a concern. Glass containers are not permitted โ please use cans or plastic.
What should I bring on the trip?
We recommend bringing sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), sunglasses, a hat, towels, a change of clothes, your food and drinks, and a waterproof phone case. Don't forget your playlist for the Bluetooth speakers! Everything else is provided.
Are water toys and floats provided?
Yes! We provide a variety of water toys including floats, pool noodles, and other water gear. You're also welcome to bring your own inflatables if you'd like.
๐ณ Booking & Payment
How do I book a trip?
Booking is easy! Visit our Book Now page, select your preferred trip duration (4, 6, or 8 hours), choose an available date on the calendar, fill in your details, and secure your spot with a $200 deposit through our secure Stripe checkout.
How much is the deposit?
A $200 deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip. The deposit is applied toward your total trip cost.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment system for the deposit. For the remaining balance on trip day, we accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, or card.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand plans change. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to your scheduled trip will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the trip are non-refundable and will result in forfeiture of deposits.
Can I book for a specific date that shows unavailable?
If a date shows as unavailable on the calendar, it means it's already booked โ we only take one group per day to ensure an exclusive, private experience. However, feel free to contact us as schedules occasionally change.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all guests are required to sign a digital liability waiver before the trip. After your deposit is received, a waiver link will be sent to your email for convenient digital signing. It only takes a minute!
Are life jackets provided?
Yes, we carry Coast Guard approved life jackets for all passengers, including children's sizes. Life jackets are required to be worn by children and non-swimmers, and available for all guests at any time.
Is the trip suitable for children?
Absolutely! Crab Island is a family-friendly destination. The shallow waters make it safe and fun for kids of all ages. We have life jackets in children's sizes and our captain is experienced with family groups.
Can I bring my pet?
No Pets Policy
We love pets, but for safety and insurance reasons, pets are not permitted on board during your charter experience.
What if someone in our group has special needs or accessibility requirements?
Please contact us before booking so we can discuss your specific needs and ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably. We want every guest to have an amazing experience.
